SaveForge (“we”, “our”, or “the app”) is an Android application that allows
users to create and restore local backups of application data in supported
virtual Android environments.
We respect your privacy. SaveForge does not require you to create an account
or log in, and SaveForge does not operate a server or cloud storage service
for your backups.
1. Information and Data Stored by SaveForge
SaveForge does not require users to provide personal information such as
their name, email address, phone number, or account credentials.
When you use the backup feature, SaveForge works with application data
available in the supported virtual Android environment. Backup files are
stored locally on the device in the SaveForge backup directory.
SaveForge does not upload your backup files to a SaveForge server or cloud
storage service.
2. Local Backups
When you choose to back up an application, SaveForge copies the applicable
application data to local storage.
When you choose to restore an application, SaveForge copies the selected
local backup back to the applicable application data location.
Backup and restore operations are initiated by the user.
SaveForge does not provide remote cloud backup or synchronization.
3. Permissions
SaveForge may request or declare Android permissions needed for its
functionality, including permissions related to storage access and
discovering installed applications.
These permissions are used to support the application’s backup, restore,
and application-selection functionality.
SaveForge does not use these permissions to create user accounts or upload
application backups to a SaveForge server.
4. Advertising
SaveForge displays advertisements using Google Mobile Ads (AdMob).
The Google Mobile Ads SDK may automatically collect and process certain
information for advertising, analytics, fraud prevention, and related
purposes. Depending on Google’s current SDK behavior and the user’s device
and privacy settings, this may include:
- IP address
- Device or account identifiers
- Advertising identifier
- Information about interactions with the app and advertisements
- Diagnostic and performance information
Information processed by Google Mobile Ads is handled according to Google’s
applicable policies and terms.

5. Third-Party Services
SaveForge uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK to display advertisements.
We do not operate the advertising network ourselves. Information processed
by the advertising SDK may be handled by Google and its service providers
according to their applicable policies and user privacy settings.
6. Children’s Privacy
SaveForge is not specifically designed to collect personal information
from children.
We do not knowingly request names, email addresses, phone numbers,
passwords, or account information from children.
7. Data Security
SaveForge does not maintain a SaveForge cloud database containing your
backups.
Backup data created by the application is stored locally on your device.
The security of locally stored files also depends on the security of the
device and the Android environment in which SaveForge is used.
Third-party services such as Google Mobile Ads may process information
according to their own security and privacy practices.
8. Data Retention and Deletion
SaveForge does not maintain a remote account or cloud backup containing
your data.
Local backup files remain on your device until they are deleted by you or
by the device’s storage-management mechanisms.
If you uninstall SaveForge, locally stored backup files may remain
depending on where they were stored and how Android or the virtual
environment manages that storage. Users should delete any backup files
they no longer need.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the application, its features, or
applicable requirements change.
Any updated version will be published on this page with a new
“Last updated” date.
